Veggie or bio source in SLC or Seattle area

Post by Halden »

I'm wondering if any of you guys have some clean veggie or bio you need to get rid of. I'm wanting to take a trip to Seattle in June and if I can get some good fuel I'd like to take my 82 with today's fuel prices.... Anybody have some leads or need some "help"? I also plan on visiting the Portland area...

We used to have an active member and his son that I believe used one or the other quite a bit. They live in Salt Lake, I believe. The son, whose member name slips my mind, sold veggie systems for diesel engines. The father was name was MaxB. You could send him a PM and see if he'll reply.

He operated Utah Biodiesel Supply back then. I don't know if it's still in business.

They're still around, but they sell equipment to make bio. They don't make it themselves commercially anymore...

Graydon Blair was recently a guest talking about biodiesel on a diesel performance podcast I listen to occasionally.
