Scheduling a West coast meet for August.

If you're on the West Coast or close to it, please make sure your "Location" is filled out in your forum profile. Larry (quicknotslow) is hoping to send out PMs regarding plans for this.

Scheduling a West coast meet for August.

Post by Halden »

Hello all!

I feel it's been too long since there has been a meet. I'd like to schedule one in August, or July. If I pick a date now would there be people willing to commit? I'd be willing to put something together if I could get, say, even 3 or 4 people to come up maybe an hour north of Seattle.

It is hard to plan anything right now, with COVID-19 still out of control. I'd love to think things will be different by then.

We plan to travel to the Portland area (actually Salem) eventually. I'd love to pop up for a meet, if during our visit.

That is a thought I did have about COVID. Perhaps my optimism is getting the best of me.

I'd be interested. I'm in central WA so it would be easier if it was on this side of the mountains but let me know. Less to worry about covid over here too.

We haven't ruled out an August trip. But I'd be P'upless. We'd be flying in.

I should think everyone should be vaccinated by August, and it should be something we could plan. I'd be game, I'm just south of Seattle.
