Injector pump solonoid
I can't believe that no one has posted anything about the injector pump solonoid. Anyway, 12v has to go to the solonoid to open the fuel to the pump. So a no run problem could be lack of current at the solonoid, or a bad solonoid.

Well, yes, you are right. Not much chatter about the solenoid. That is probably because they are quite reliable.

I agree with Paul. More often than not, when the solenoid comes up in discussions, we suggest that it's not likely the cause of the issue. It's just that reliable. If it fails to open, it's more often an issue with the wiring.

I took it out of one my trucks injection pumps once and cleaned it up. If you do mess with yours, be careful not to lose the spring or little rod . No, I didn't lose mine but can happen
