Has anyone ever used those rebuild kits from eBay? I think they are fro China. I’ve got a C223 NA core engine that ran hot and I’m thinking about tearing it down and doing a complete rebuild but I don’t want to get some thing that’s not worth the money.

I bought my kit directly from china..even added a cam, pushrods springs keepers valves tappets the works. Well guess what i got izumi pistons and nippon valves which are made in Japan ....so without condeming everything china just yet. You might be suprised whats laying on a shelf in a warehouse on the other side of the earth. I know its still a gamble but nos parts are getting pretty scarce. Hopefully my engine doesnt explode. But im also having said parts cyro treated as well. Id get your parts now before ww3 breaks out personally. Jlemond has nos parts but im not sure what all he still has available. Im quite happy with what i got imported.Mind you it absolutely was not $50 . More like $700 shipped by air. I did however order up some king bearings from another supplier while they were still available just because.
